Registration is open for the ASM Texas Branch 2024 Spring Meeting at Mount Lebanon Camp! This conference is geared toward undergraduate students and first- and second-year graduate students. It is a great opportunity for students to develop their presentation skills and interact with faculty from all around Texas in a very friendly and relaxed environment.
Check-in begins at 4:00 PM on Thursday and will be followed by dinner and the opening session. Undergraduate and graduate oral presentations will be Friday morning and poster presentations Friday afternoon. Abstracts for oral and poster presentations are due Feb 23. Abstract submission is open through Oxford Abstracts.
We are honored to have ASM Distinguished Lecturer Brenda Anne Wilson from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champagne giving the Goldschmidt Lecture Friday night. On Saturday we are excited to host a working group for science educators and a career workshop for students led by University of Dallas faculty and staff.
The registration fee includes bunk house lodging, Thursday dinner, all meals on Friday and breakfast on Saturday. Please bring your own bedding, towels and toiletries. If you are interested in hotel accommodations, Mt. Lebanon offers double occupancy hotel rooms. A limited number are reserved for our group and will be available on a first come first served basis reserved through the Registration page. Other hotels in the Cedar Hill area can also be found on the www.hotels.com website. We try to keep registration fees low, to encourage faculty members to bring as many students as possible. We will accept early registrations until March 8. A late fee of $25 is added to all categories after the end of early registration.
